Dr. Danesh completed Rolf Structural Integration eduction in the late 1980's while training and competing as a professional bicycle racer, living in Boulder, CO. Over the past four decades his clients have included men, women and children of a variety of ages, shapes, sizes, ease of mobility and structural alignment. During his more recent years practicing in Huntsville he works with members of the Huntsville City Football Club, the professional soccer team that plays at the Joe Davis Stadium (just next door to his office). His office is located in the heart of Huntsville's sport center around Hunt Park with martial arts training, tennis, yoga, pilates, pickle ball, Cross Fit, gymnastics, dance, ice hockey, ice skating, skateboarding, baseball, mountain biking, walking, cross country running, disc golf and sand volleyball (and a swim center around the corner on Drake). This provides Dr. Danesh a plentiful supply of clients from active sporty folks to the less active general public with the need for myofascial and structural alignment for optimal mobility and well-being.
Dr. Danesh is a graduate of Rutgers University in NJ with a pre-med degree in kinesiology and physiology along with masters and doctoral degrees in naturopathic - Asian medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine in OR. His degree in naprapathy is from the Scandinavian College of Manual Medicine in Sweden. He has practiced as a rolfer on the East and West coasts of the US, the Midwest as well as the front range of Colorado. He was given his yogic name "Danesh Dharmananda" after completion of a degree in Ayuveda and Hatha Yoga teacher training in 1987 at ashrams in NY, CA and The Bahamas. Dr. Danesh has practiced and hosted instructional seminars on Rolf Structural Integration throughout the US, UK, EU in addition to Central and South America. He continues to provide seminars in Ayurveda and Rolf Structural Integration at his healing center in Huntsville.
